How to FTP to your website to your domain:

• Uploading Websites to NCIA - Where to upload your files. You can update your website as often as you like and at anytime you like using FTP (file transfer protocol).

• Using Frontpage to Upload - Frontpage2000 extensions are available if requested. Send an email to webmaster@ncia.net and let us know you want frontpage extensions added to your website.

• Using Netscape Composer to Upload - Netscape Composer has a different format for uploading. Read this to see how it is set up, including "screen shots" of the setup.

The following can be added to your website:

• Statistics - if you would like to learn more about who visits your site and where they came from, NCIA supplies web statistics for commercial web pages. Click Here for more information on the terms used in your stats.

• Hit Counter - if you would like to add a simple "hit counter" to you page for visitors to view.

• Shopping Cart - Ideal for selling. The Cart holds item name, part number, quantity, price, shipping, tax, weight and custom options you can set using your web browser.

• Secure Server - (take credit card orders online) E-mail webmaster@ncia.net for pricing information. This authentication is quite a complex process involving public keys, private keys and a digital certificate. The certificate tells you that an independent third party has agreed that the server belongs to the company it claims to belong to. A valid certificate means that you can have confidence that you are sending information to the right place.
  This requires that the link to the pages that you want to be secure, includes and "s" for the link in your HTML.

Terms Of Use

Termination. Your website may be terminated by you or by us, with or without cause, Upon Request your website will be kept on backup tape for 1 week after DNS removal. After the ONE week period, all reference to your website(s) will be removed from our databases, and your website(s) will be removed from the server and FTP access will be denied. We will not be responsible for lost files after this one week (or extended) holding period.
